On Thursday 4th April 2019, Andrew Jones MP, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport responsible for the railways, visited Handforth Station to make an important announcement.
He announced, on behalf of the Department of Transport, that Handforth station has secured Government funding from the Access for All programme to make it step-free.
