Sunday 17th March saw another very successful “Friends of Handforth Station” Work Party. We cut down a lot of vegetation, in preparation for some Spring planting, we collected and took away a distressingly large amount of litter, and we erected a new Station Sign.
The weather was “challenging”, but we survived the blustery showers and all enjoyed ourselves. We thank in particular all those people who joined a Work Party for the first time; we ended with a huge sense of satisfaction in keeping our station tidy and attractive.
