FoHS ran a stall at the “Handforth Lights Switch-On” event in The Paddock on Sat 25th November 2017, with free chocolates, selfies with Her Majesty the Queen … and two competitions. We’re delighted to announce that the winner of the “Voices From The Train” competition was Harry Derham, and the winner of the “View From The Train” competition was Jack Bonfield. Very close runners-up, being highly commended by the judges, were Emily Crisp and Erin Lamb. Congratulations to all.
Each of the two winners receives a prize to share with their nearest and dearest: a family weekend rail pass allowing free travel on any Northern Rail trains for 48 hours !
