Handforth Station 1949 - Jubilee Locomotive764 viewsA Jubilee locomotive (45638 "Zanzibar") approaches Handforth Station from Wilmslow on 13 June 1949. Note the existing platform on the left. The platform for northbound trains was located north of the Station Road bridge. It was relocated opposite the southboud platform in 1959/60.
